Custom Tour Development

I started working with Museum Hack in 2014, where I spearheaded the expansion of their tour program to include the American Museum of Natural History, among others renowned institutions across New York City. Subsequently, I collaborated with museums globally to curate bespoke tour content and immersive experiences, redefining traditional museum visitations.

At Museum Hack, our primary objective was to transcend conventional expectations of museum tours by curating interactive experiences that fostered deeper engagement between visitors and the museum's exhibits. In addition to developing bespoke tours for international museums, I conceptualized themed tours at prominent New York City venues, such as The Mating Game: Sex, Drugs, and Rock & Roll at the American Museum of Natural History, and an Olympic-themed Sports Tour at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

  • Orchestrated the creation of a cohesive experience that navigated the extensive and inclusive exhibits seamlessly, maintaining a tone of reflection while interspersing moments of levity to enhance engagement.

  • Collaborated closely with staff from a variety of museums departments to curate a behind-the-scenes tour that effectively addressed logistical challenges for both museum visitors and staff, facilitating access to collections not typically on public display.

  • Developed a tour program that highlighted the institution's rich historical and scientific collections, further enhancing engagement and facilitating in-depth discussions by offering participants a comprehensive exploration of the museum's broader offerings beyond the usual exhibits.
